General wonderings about this website and project
- Many of the resources I find are pretty theorical. It’s not really the sort of stuff I want to put forward because I want this website to be as “action-driven” as possible. But I still think those resources are interesting and worth reading. Maybe I’ll create a specific subsection for theorical stuff (some texts are already around such as the ones related to antipsychiatry)
Another thing is that I believe that this project might be a bit to restrictive. The concept of care and mutual aid is extremely broad and for now it’s pretty limited and almost single-issue. So I had an idea of another structure which would help map different oppressions/topics and for each oppression/authority:
- Explain what it is (shortly)
- Give links to resources that help understand its history and deconstruct it
- Give links to examples in other societies that work in different ways (or other examples in history)
- Give links to resources and examples today of ways to resist against it (so basically concrete actions and resources to do them)
- Stories of people that resist it talking about it, explaining how it feels to be resisting and deconstructing those stuff (to avoid having just a fact database and instead link that to actual feelings, stories, lived experiences)
- Links to other authorities/oppressions to show how one issue is always linked to the others and gain a better understanding of intersectionality.
