Hello there. Welcome to this little space. This is my archive of things I find pretty cool in the world of mutual aid, and most specifically mental health care.

Here you’ll find everything I find interesting in those topics. I also generally try to archive the texts in plain text format in order to make them more accessible and more permanent (many websites only use scanned PDFs and many are no longer up unfortunately). However it’s not because a resource was lost, that it has lost any of its value.

This website is there to make them stay.

Check the upcoming resources in advance

You can check out the idea page to see all the upcoming resources and archives. They aren’t in any specific format, I simply use that page as a way to dump all the ideas in one place whenever I find something interesting.

Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any idea that might make this website better (translations, archive, new links, new categories, aesthetics, accessibility, broken link, anything that comes to your mind).

🚨 Crisis Resources & Suicide Prevention

  • Navigating Crisis by The Icarus Project is a resource to help yourself navigate a crisis or support others through a crisis
  • Helping your friends who sometimes wanna die, maybe not die., a wonderful text on how to support friends in crisis situations and in general while not forgetting ourselves. Available in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish. On that page, there is also a bunch of very interesting resources, some of them are also listed here.
  • You feel like shit., an interactive website to guide you through self care when you are feeling down.
  • Practicing self-care, step-by-step is a simple flowchart made by the Trevor Project (an association to help LGBTQ youth) to guide you through self care when you’re feeling overwhelmed
  • Breathing exercice is a guided breathing exercise made by the Trevor Project

đź“‹ Crisis Plan

A crisis plan is a plan made before a crisis to help you (and your trusted friends) navigate a crisis. It is a sort of map to follow to take care of yourself when you’re in an emotional state where everything is dark and it’s hard to take decisions.

đź’¬ Compassionate Communication

Compassionate communication, more commonly known as Nonviolent Communication is a sort of process to help you better communicate with yourself and others, support others, resolve conflicts, express gratitude, create more healthy relationships and many more.

  • Finding peace, clarity and win-win is an interactive journal used to gain more clarity and peace while also learning nonviolent communication.
  • ZeNVC’s handouts are tools to use for practicing NVC, such as writing a journal, doing an empathy call with someone, and simply understanding some basics of this form of communication better.
  • NVC San Francisco Workshop is a 3 hours long, complete view of compassionate communication, it pretty much covers everything there is in the book introducing the idea (Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life)
